Ok so first things first, I think introductions are in order. My name is Ben Sweeney and I’ve been elected by you to be the student union president for Dudley College.  I am very grateful to all those who helped me (and voted for me!)

I stood for president because I wanted to make your education the best it can be for you, so remember you are always welcome to come into the office and tell me any ideas you have to improve the student experience.

I officially start on the 4th of January but in the run up I’ve been forming my plans into something I can do in my term as president. I’ve been reading up on the terms and conditions and registering to go and meet other sabbaticals with NUS. I hope that as time goes on I’ll have more exciting things to tell you but till then I hope you all enjoyed your holiday.
