Hi there and welcome to my blog, Just finished my first week in post, have to say it has been going pretty well and im getting into the swing of thing. This is the first of many updates from me to keep you up to date with whats going on so keep your eyes open you won’t want to miss a thing. It been a unique experiences in being in college in the summer holiday but its joyful one at that and I am looking forward to the work ahead of me.  I went to the NUS (national union of students) conference with our campaigns officer David, we got the opportunity to meet different students’ unions and some of the NUS members. Thanks to this we was able to get some contact information of other union so we can share ideas and best practice. What this means is we can make the union better for you and as we know that’s always a big plus. Also I went to my first corporation meeting, have to say that it went well and I found it interesting and that I am looking forward to the next one. Also i have being working on a students’ union handbook that I hope you will enjoy and I will see you all in September.
