So you might be thinking of why we ran for the post?

(Ryan) I ran for this post of Vice-President for Campaigns because “I feel that students are not been listened too” and as a young person myself, I feel the decisions that the current…

Labour Conference

Hi all not too long ago on the Wednesday the 28 the Exec Team went to the labour conference i was just starting off think it would be all boring but the event was well organised and well-presented accessible to all. The event had lots to offer and it gave me a chance to look at what we could do for re-fresher. Although i thought i was going to be boring i actually learnt something new and it was interesting.

It was a good day for the exec and i hope to see their blog about it soon…

Freshers Fayre

Hi all hope you enjoyed Yesterdays Freshers I felt like it could of been better but to be honest I was helping out instead of looking around and getting into the activities that where there. But it did turn out better than last year and let’s hope that RE-FRESHERS on the 20th of Jan will go well as well. Just tell me what you thought that could have been improved at Freshers Fayre.

Thanks for attending hope you had fun, Wesley Tony Whittick.

Scavenger Hunt

Yes we went on scavenger hunt because Dudley SU do not turn a challenge down and Wolves SU challenged us so we all got up early on Saturday morning to set off and prove Dudley Su as fighters.
So me Kim, Leah Dave and Ray set of to find the place and wow was that missions because were not very good at directions and none of us have our pink driving licences lol. UCU National one day strike (SU statement)

This is why teachers are protesting

PENSIONS – the government wants to cut millions of pounds from lecturers pension scheme. This means that lecturers would get their pensions at 65 instead of 60 and the average lecturer would pay an extra £1500 a year while losing £65,000 over the course of their retirement

Also we have had the BBC come in to listen and recorded some students and their views about the government’s choices on EMA. Im hoping to put these pieces up on this website soon :) and had Ed Balls visit the college to talk to students about their views. Along with this we have also been working on saving services for young people such as…
