How Tomake an informal complaint

IF THE COMPLAINT IS ABOUT YOUR LESSONS....

If you feel able to, we recommend that you speak to your tutor first.  Ask them if they have time to speak to you after class for five minutes and then raise your concerns with them.  Try to offer constructive solutions to your issue.

If you do not feel that you are able to speak to your tutor then you could either ask your class rep to speak to them on your behalf or you could speak to your personal tutor.  If all else fails then come and get support from the Students’ Union office as we are here to help.

IF THE COMPLAINT IS ABOUT YOUR TUTOR...

IF THE COMPLAINT IS ABOUT A COLLEGE SERVICE/GENERAL CONCERN

There are several ways to make a complaint about either a service offered by the college or a general concern.  We would suggest that you contact the Students’ Union office and we can advise you on the best approach.

IF THE COMPLAINT IS ABOUT THE STUDENTS' UNION SERVICE...

You can e-mail us, make an appointment to speak to the President or, if you prefer to raise your complaint anonomously in the first instance, you can either post your comments in the red post box outside of the Students’ Union Office or ask the receptionist at your campus to send it to us in the internal post.

IF THE COMPLAINT IS ABOUT THE STUDENTS' UNION PRESIDENT...

You can raise any concerns/complaints regarding the Students’ Union President in an informal manner in the following ways:

1. Speak directly to the President
2. Write to the ‘Students’ Union Executive team’ and e-mail/post this to the Students’  Union
3. Contact either Sophia or Natasha

IF THE COMPLAINT IS ABOUT A MEMBER OF THE STUDENTS' UNION EXECUTIVE TEAM...

You can raise any concerns/complaints regarding the Students’ Union Executive in an informal manner in the following ways:
